This sourcebook and the complementing collective volume Media Cultures of the Russian 1990s: Inventing the Post-Soviet Public Sphere, edited by Maya Vinokour and available from October 2025, offer insightful studies on the politics, (pop-)culture, and the media landscape of post-Soviet Russia.
